India Mission 2007
Here are a few thoughts from my journal while on the recent missions trip to India and also some photos I thought you might enjoy.

Just sat on the plane for the ride to London - the first leg of the journey.
The total traveling time will be 25 hours.
God has began to show us favor as we pulled into the airport the van was able to pull right up to the gate. As we pulled in two cars just pulled off as if they were waiting for us to arrive.
Once inside all the baggage was checked together which was another heavenly favor otherwise we would have had to pay for two heavy bags.
It was then that it hit me, what am I doing here?
If I were to be told of a day as this I could not have believed it. I was reminded of Ecclesiastis 3:1 "to everything there is a season, and a time for every purpose under the heaven"
This was truly to be a harvest season, and the laborers were few.
I guess when I am facing something like this, it is common to look for an explanation and when nothing make sense to me I remember not to focus on what is seen because that is only temporal but to focus on what is not seen because that is eternal .

Well God is a God of miracles and He is not waiting, Louise slept in the plane, The flight was rough at times but she was peaceful, Praise God.
This is definitely a miracle as she is always very frightened when flying.
I am reading a new book The Greatest Secret, I have enjoyed it greatly it will be one I use in my "tool box".
There is a direct correlation between success and bible verses, or better said God's given instructions.
The bible is a how to do it , step by step instruction manual for life.
As I boarded the plane in London I anointed my head, to be prepared for the great awakening that is to come.

I can not imagine what is coming however I know that the Holy Spirit will move in ways that I could not begin to fathom.
I do not want to sound over religious however I have no words to explain the feelings that I feel as we flight over some of the countries , Iraq, Iran, Israel, and many others places I have only seen on a map or the news.
The only words I can use is "look what the Lord has done".

We started the day by meeting the team from India.
37 students and the staff of brother Rajan.
As I walked into the room I was in awe they have been working for this crusade for over 3 weeks.

I addressed the students I do not remember what I told them, but later one of them came over with an interpreter and told me that he would die for Christ, I have never heard that before, he was 16 years old..
I have to tell you about the traffic, everybody drives as they want. To change lanes just beep your horn and the other person should just get out of the way. There are bicycles, motorcycles, cows, buses, more cows, pedestrians, dogs, cars, and sheep all in the same lane with incoming traffic.
Many times there are traffic jams because the cows decide to stop to go to the bathroom.
At times the soul needs to be reminded that it is all vanity and what we consider a necessity is a luxury for someone else.
We got together in a room to prepare ourselves spiritually in prayer and worship.
Louise shared the scriptures Phil 2:12-18, Isaiah 60 1-4, Zach 8 23.
Caroline shared Isaiah 53, Jeremiah 17 1-7 Psalm 98 1
Vicky Philipian 3 8-11 , Pastor Ed read from Acts
The devil was not going to go down without a fight, so before the crusade started some influential Hindu put pressure on the owner of the lot that was being rented for the crusade and he canceled the deal just hours before the starting time.
Another site was secured in such a short time frame, the equipmest was moved and a temporary stage was erected. This proved to be a divine movement of God as we were told later by a lady who lives nearby to the new site that she was planning to kill herself. She heard the sound system outside of her home and came out to hear and see what was going on. She gave her life to the Lord therefore she did commit suicide in a way and opened a new life in Christ!

Crusade 1st night.
There were about 200 people, Pastor Ed preached and when he made the call for salvation about 90% stood up, I could not believe my eyes, nor was I prepared for what will come next.
A boy crippled by polio walked again, the blind was able to see, the mute spoke.
One account while one of the team was praying and laying hands a young person that was mute spoke again, his first word was JESUS.
There were so many that I am not aware of since we were interceding and praying for people while the healings were taking place.
One miracle resulted in the whole family accepting Jesus as their savior and therefore a church is born, one church has over 24 families, the pastor was once a student.
Crusade 2nd Night.
The crowd was double maybe even 500.
The field was surrounded by houses and everybody was outside.
Brother Rajan and Pastor Ed preached the Word, I shared testimony with Danielle.
When the call for salvation was made more than 80% stood up, God moved in a powerful way. There were again healing testimonies of blindness, the mute spoke, the lame walked. A boy since early age could not walk nor speak was running and yelling.
I could not hear the testimony because we were surrounded by people that wanted prayers.
The prayer requests are all the same except for the children, all they wanted was to be good in school and get a good education, to put this in perspective theses are kids that do not have shoes, never had a toy, may not have more that 2 pants or shirts.
Rajan's mother was there, I did not know who she was so I asked her if she wanted prayer, she told me that she would liked to meet the young man that preached, and the whole team.
Crusade 3rd Night
Brother Rajan preached
I shared a testimony of what God did for me in 87.
When everything failed I prayed that He would keep us together and He did.
The crowd was bigger than the two previous nights. The Holy Spirit was all around us Tonight we were on a schedule as we needed to catch a train to Chennai at 10.30 The same % of the people stood up for salvation.
Louise had many people that came up to her and told her that they receive healing for whatever they asked and now they wanted prayer for other miracles.
If I were to put the result of the crusade in a sentence When a need is met by prayer in the realm of faith , it sets the stage for God to do his will.
Town Visits..
Each day before the crusade we will go into a town, speak with the people ask them to come to the place where our cars were and shared testimony.
The villagers were friendly and many asked us to pray for them.
